Could this day be *any* longer?

Today is going by so slowly. It absolutely didn't help that this morning I was so exhausted I almost fell asleep at my computer. I even had to go buy a coffee on my lunch break, since it seems to be the only caffeinated beverage that keeps me awake (soda does nothing). I don't know why I was so tired, either. It's not like I got less sleep than I did yesterday. Not like I got much sleep, though. I was up late the last two nights reading some of this year's amazing crop of yuletide fics. I will try to do recs this weekend cause I've already read some real gems.

Now my right wrist is killing me. I am definitely going to have to pick up a wrist brace after work so I don't end up developing a problem. That would just suck. Hopefully I won't fuck it up too much before the end of the day. I'm trying to take little breaks throughout the last few hours here, but I don't really think it's doing much beyond not making it worse. It's not so much that it feels bad when I type, it's that using the mouse sucks. And transferring the mouse to the left side of the desk and using it left handed is slow going.

Here's hoping the rest of the day will go by more quickly. And that the next time I post, I'll actually be able to think of something interesting to say. :)

Oh, I did think of something I wanted to say, after all! I find it really strange that the filters this office has set up will allow me to go to lj.com and log in, but won't allow me to go to my actual journal. I wonder what it is about my recent entries page that trips the filters. I am too busy to actually read my flist, but it would be nice to check posts after they're up to make sure I didn't make some horrid HTML error that would screw up the rest of the entry. So, if I did that in this entry, or if I do that in the future, sorry about that. You'll have to complain to the IT department here. But considering how long it takes them to address our complaints, you'll probably be waiting a while.
