I have a billion things I want to post about but I can't seem to get my brain organized enough to start. So, here's a list of the ridiculous amounts of TV I'm going to be watching this season:
Monday
8:30 - How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 9/18)
9:00 - Two and a Half Men (CBS, 9/18) - I'll probably download this, since I can't tape/watch three things at once.
9:00 - Vanished (FOX)
9:00 - Heroes (NBC, 9/25)
10:00 - Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (NBC, 9/18)
Tuesday
8:00 - Gilmore Girls (CW, 9/26)
9:00 - Veronica Mars (CS, 10/3)
10:00 - Smith (CBS, 9/19) - I'm only trying this because I love Ray Liotta. I firmly expect it to suck and that I'll quit after a couple of episodes. Or one, if it's as bad as some critics say.
I'm also currently downloading the pilot of Friday Night Lights too see if I want to give that a try.
Wednesday
8:00 - Bones (FOX, 8/30) - Starts tonight, yay! But moves to Fridays when AI comes on, boo!
8:00 - Jericho (CBS, 9/20)
9:00 - Justice (FOX, 8/30) - Victor Garber!!
9:00 - Lost (ABC, 10/4) - Going to hang on for a bit longer to see if I still want to watch it. I haven't even finished last season yet.
10:00 - The Nine (ABC, 10/4) - Not sure if I will end up trying this or not. Need to actually see a promo first. It does have some people I like in it, though.
10:00 - Kidnapped (NBC, 9/20) - I adore Timothy Hutton, but this sounds really similar to Vanished, which I already like. We'll see.
Thursday
8:00 - Smallville (CW, 9/28) - I don't think I'll be taping SV this year, but I will continue watching it.
8:00 - My Name Is Earl (NBC, 9/21)
9:00 - Supernatural (CW, 9/28) - EEEEE, I can't wait!
9:00 - Grey's Anatomy (ABC, 9/21)
10:00 - ER (NBC, 9/21) - Maybe. I think I will probably end up quitting ER, since I deleted the last third of the season from the DVR without watching. I may peek in occasionally, though.
Friday
8:00 - Ghost Whisperer (CBS, 9/22)
8:00 - Crossing Jordan (NBC, 10/20) - I'm really glad they decided to put this on the fall schedule. Especially with that $#%^$ cliffhanger.
10:00 - Numb3rs (CBS, 9/22)
Sunday
7:00 - Everybody Hates Chris (CW, 10/1) - If I remember, I'll try to catch this sometimes. I enjoyed the one episode I saw last season, but I don't know that I'll ever remember it's on.
8:00 - The Simpsons (FOX, 9/10) - Duh.
9:00 - Desperate Housewives (ABC, 9/24) - This may get dropped too. I want to watch the first couple to see if the format change they mentioned makes it good again.
In the midseason, I'm going to try Day Break on ABC (Taye Diggs, yay!), and The Black Donnellys (replaces ER) and Andy Barker, P.I. (if it's as good as Andy Richter Controls the Universe, it'll be worth watching) on NBC. Scrubs will be back (yay!), and Bones will move to Friday at 8:00, so I will probably drop Ghost Whisperer.
So, if everything turns out to be really good (doubtful, but anything can happen, right?), then I will be watching...*counts*...twenty two and a half hours of TV every week. Holy crap. More realistically, at least five hours of this will suck. But that still leaves me with over seventeen hours a week. So glad for DVR right now, you don't even know.
ETA: GIP! Now I finally have an all purpose icon for television posts.
