So, I had all this stuff planned for this weekend, places to go, work to get done. Did I do any of it? Nope! Well, I guess that's a lie, since I did make it to the Aztec exhibit at the Royal Academy of Arts, but since I got there late, I wasn't able to finish the entire thing. I started out by having to wait outside in line in the freezing cold for two and a half hours. Well, it got to feel pretty cold after the first 90 minutes, whether or not it was actually freezing. When I got there, the security guy said it would take about an hour and a half to get through the exhibit, and since they were staying open until midnight, I felt sure that I'd finish.
However, the guy underestimated just a tad. If I'd known that it would take about 4-5 hours to look at the exhibit thoroughly, I would have made sure to get there early. Grr! Although I can't really be pissed that much, since the exhibit's been here since November, so I could've gone to it any day I wanted.
But aside from that, and buying a ticket to a play next weekend, I did a grand total of nothing. Nothing productive that is. I did work of my website and created a new LJ layout, which I will be posting very soon (as soon as I get my computer hooked up to the Internet, or until I put the files on a disk and bring it to the computer lab. Who knows if I'll actually get to do that, since it 's always so busy in here. To give you an idea: I'm using the iMac. Not that there's anything wrong with Macs (love them, aside from the teeny keyboard), but since you can't actually save anything to disk on the Mac, most of the time it's empty.
And something totally unrelated to anything else, but what I found kind of weird. I watched Final Destination again this weekend, and I swear, Smallville is like a bizarre Minor Characters of Final Destination Reunion. I mean, I knew already that Tony Todd (played Earl in SV) was in both, but I didn't realize that the actor who played Tod in FD was also Greg (from Metamorphosis). And Alex's (Devon Sawa) dad? Gabe Sullivan! So very strange.
*sigh* Should probably get back to work. I can't believe the semester's almost over, and I still have so much work. I don't wanna go home! I think I'm one of the few that feels like that, for some odd reason. I'd think people would jump at the chance to stay in London, or travel in Europe for a few weeks. I guess people are just weird. Anyway, back to work.
