I am the moast busy this week, ugh. With the Hershey and Chicago(!) Blink-182 shows, and traveling to and from both, and having to (among many other things) do all of the laundry before I go, I am going a little bit nuts. I think the greatest evidence to support this is the fact that tomorrow I'm going to be buying tickets for the newly announced Blink/FOB show at Madison Square Garden. But, honestly, how could I not! It's the last day of tour, and I always miss end of tour shenanigans! Opening act is AAR! Plus, Pete is apparently going to allow Mark Hoppus to do something to his hair onstage. Possibly cut it, but personally, I'm hoping he shaves it off (for the lulz, you understand). Either way, I will be spending too much money to be there. Hell, it's the last FOB show for the foreseeable future. How could I not?
Also, I apparently got Panic! meet and greet for both dates. /o\ I only signed up to sign up! I didn't expect to actually get it. Maybe I'll get FOB meet and greet for Chicago so I won't have to deal with creepy Panic fans twice in one week. I wonder what I should bring with me to get signed. *ponders* Any suggestions?

Let's see, since my last post, I've seen two amazing movies that I have to rec to you guys. First off, if you like sci-fi about regular people (set in space!) and it is playing anywhere near you, you should definitely check out
Moon. I don't want to spoil this at all, since this is one of those movies that really benefits from going into it blind (tbh, I wouldn't even watch the trailer, since it spoils one of the key plot points [don't they all, lately], but it's not like it ruins it or anything). This IMDb summary gives you a good idea of what the film's about, though: Astronaut Sam Bell has a quintessentially personal encounter toward the end of his three-year stint on the Moon, where he, working alongside his computer, GERTY, sends back to Earth parcels of a resource that has helped diminish our planet's power problems.
I kind of can't figure out how to really talk about this movie without giving too much away, but I will say that Sam Rockwell gives a brilliant performance, and Kevin Spacey is fantastic as the voice of GERTY, the robot that assists Sam with his daily tasks. Everything feels incredibly realistic (amazing sets, and a great use of model miniatures for the vehicles and the exterior of the moon's surface, no fake-looking CGI!), and the story is really compelling. I cannot recommend this enough. I am going to call an Oscar nomination for this right now.
The other movie I saw was
Funny People. Of the three movies Judd Apatow has directed, this is probably my favorite. Despite all of the dick jokes (and there are a lot of them, OMG), there is a real emotional maturity to this film. Adam Sandler is fantastic, delivering a performance that reminded me a lot of his performance in
Punch-Drunk Love. Not in tone, so much as in the depth that is missing from a lot of his roles. And we all know by now that Seth Rogan is brilliant. He's fantastic here, and his scenes with Sandler are really great. They have great chemistry together (the whole cast does, in fact). Other standout performances for me were Leslie Mann, as George's ex, and Jonah Hill as one of Ira's roommates. I could probably write an actualfax long review about this, I enjoyed it that much.
So, really, go see this movie. Even if you're not a fan of any of the actors, I promise you will like this. Hey, my mom even loved it.

Ugh, got to go do some laundry before I go to sleep. Then must wake up and buy all of the tickets for the MSG show. Later!
