Home again
Home, intact. The Island was lovely and excellent, and I already miss our cabin's hot tub. (Faildog, for those of you who were wondering, wreaked great havoc at Mum's house. More to come on that later.) Will do big vacation post with pictures tomorrow. Also only managed to get online twice while away, once yesterday while having lunch in Tofino and once - I think - Monday? Maybe? Might have been Tuesday. Either way, wow, F-list, you've been busy. *pages back 180 and counting* I promise nothing in terms of actually commenting on all your excellent stories (as there have evidently been many) but I will try.
In the meantime, see what was waiting for me in the post when we got home!
Ronon and Teyla have finally arrived!
And taken up residence with the boys on the shelf above my desk.
The team's all together now. I admit I'm at a loss as to why Teyla has pink nailpolish, but she came with ass-whupping sticks bantos rods, so I think I can overlook it. I'm mildly annoyed with the control chair piece that came with Ronon, as I have almost no desire for the other figures in the series but the chair looks so cool. On the other hand, I have fully half of the gate now.
School starts Monday - eep! Also, that pre-req override I was hassling the English Chair over all week the week before last finally came through - except the class is full and I no longer need it anymore. Thanks, guys. o.O
Also the Manulife assholes took a May payment out of my account despite my having cancelled that policy a week ago in favour of coverage through School. More people to call and shout at on Monday!
Now, booze and Jessica Fletcher. My life is exciting, but I manage.
