Good news, bad news.

So, I finished a book. Hurrah. I've done all I can do for the meantime for that book. So I should be working on the other, nearly-finished book, right? CvsE has been languishing, untouched, on my harddrive for almost a year, now. Now would be a good time. But I tried. Nothing. Argh. So instead, I turned back to the Dread Query Letter for Riverwend.

I think by now we're all familiar with my tendency to go way, way overboard when I find something that distracts me, at least when it's distracting me from something stressful about which I can do nothing.

But even I did not expect to have compiled 78 names and to have written 78 letters by 9:13pm.

'Cause, um, yeah. *headdesk*

I mean, okay, technically I only wrote one letter and changed the address (Although the first one was agonizing - 150 words to describe the entire book? What?), and I'll have to change it when I get the drafts back and edit the thing, and then again when I get the second draft back and edit it again, so it was mainly a giant, shiny-thing waste of time.

The thing that's really bothering me, I suppose, is that I don't think any of my readers are less than two to three weeks from returning the drafts, and I have only managed to kill sixteen hours.

Clearly, there is something wrong with my brain. *repeat headdesk*
