Good news: I found a working copy of Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego at the Salvation Army for $2.99.
Bad news: it's too old and stupid to play nice with my graphics card, which is about fifteen years its junior.

Note to self: contrive somehow to rescue NES from parents' house for Girly 80s Cartoon Night, so that we may play Duck Hunt. Apparently in the new one you can shoot the dog. Alas, back then we could only aim at him and wish real hard. :)
