Surrounded by Rosin Dust…
A couple of weeks back I started learning the Violin. Learning a musical instruments was one of the things I was looking forward to doing for almost two years now and I finally decided to take up the challenge
The choice was pretty straightforward… There were only two instruments I was very keen to learn, the flute and the violin. Both instruments have always been extremely close to my heart and listening to them always sent me into a trace.
Between the two, I chose the latter coz I had never held a Violin, that and coz I believe that I have a poor lung capacity for a wind instrument… Actually that should have driven me towards the flute(the lure of the bigger challenge) but the romantic inside me had other plans
So far the learning experience has been simply amazing. I have been literally stealing time from my daily work to hold my violin for a little while and when the high pitched (incoherent) music fills the room, I find an amazing drive of enthusiasm
