Today
Today the sky is blue and Fergus and I are headed to Tancook Island (http://www.tancookislandtourism.ca/) to go geocaching. Last year we did this with bikes, but my friend Ryan doesn't want to take the bikes this year, he thinks we can walk it.
I think he's forgotten that I'm the slowest walker in the world. While I might be giving it my all and really pushing myself, others who are out for a stroll just whiz right by me. This has been the case for me my whole life, I've accepted it.
Last year was amazing because on my bike I was able to keep up with those hiking, and even leap frog a few. However last year I suffered from heat stroke because of the heat and sun. This year I'm planning to take as much water as I can to avoid another instance of heat stroke.
It's a beautiful island. If you are ever in Nova Scotia, you should have a look.
