I read the end of that awful book on my lunch hour (I can be compulsive about finishing a book once I start it), and I almost lost it when they got to 'laying down the rules' on their marriage.
Her rules:
1) No affairs (he wouldn't agree to that)
2) A simple life (of course in this book he was a billionaire and lived an extravigant lifestyle and couldn't comprehend making a cup of coffee or sandwich for himself.)
His rules:
1) She can't dress provocatively in public, no tight clothing.
2) She had to be available to him whenever and however he wanted sex
3) She had to learn to cook
(Sound like a 1950s house wife to anyone else?)
Oh and even if he had an affair, she was not allowed to indulge in an affair herself.
The story was set in modern day London and Spain. If this book had been a physical book and not an ebook, I would have hurled it at the wall. However my gadgets are to precious to risk, but that ebook will be deleted with a vengence. =D
In other news, Florida on Thursday!!!!
