So Saturday, Gloria and I went to the Dodgers and Giants game at Dodger Stadium. I'm a Dodgers fan, she's a Giants fan; need i say more? This was one of the most exciting games I have ever gone to. The game was pretty close throughout the nine innings, with the Giants ahead the whole time.
It was down to the bottom of the ninth inning. Giants were up 4 to 3, with 2 outs. I had pretty much given up, but then one miracle after another, all these batters who had done NOTHING the whole day were getting hits. next thing yah know, DODGERS WIN! the crowd erupted, everyone in the stadium stood up, hooting and hollering... and giants fans everywhere cried a tear. har har =)
God I love going to Baseball games.
It's just the environment. I always run into such interesting people when I go to games. At this game, the guys sitting behind us, with beers in hand, were just there to check out girls.
"whooaaaa. hey hey check out that one over there. the one in green. damn she HAS to be hot"
The worst thing, however, is the overpricing. 5 dollars for a bottle of water? FIVE DOLLARS?! ridiculous...I know supply and demand...but I wonder how it make them feel that some people could get heatstroke because they dont have 5 freakin dollars to keep themselves hydrated.
