It is THE saddest thing in the entire world. he even made noises once the folks at the clinic took him. That's even more sad.

It is sad, but he'll be much better off in their care. Baby squirrels aren't the easiest things to raise. Yes, my mom would bring them home for us to care for when she worked at the Emergency Vet Clinic.
