i need musical advice...
okay. i need musical advice...now...well, soon...
as you might (or might not) know, i am a soprano. finally kpekar recognizes that! but, since i haven't sung soprano since...october freshman year...i really can't.
eastern region auditions aren't until november 19th (115 days away), so i've plenty of time to figure it out.
the big internal question is...ALTO or SOPRANO
and, it seems stupid to think about it this early but it is a difficult question and something i should really think about. do i go where my voice can ring really well, but only in a few sections? or do i go where my voice can penetrate and give the same sensation that i get when i smell burning wood (don't ask...).
if you have any advice, por favor, ayudame. i need help. i'll ask kpekar when school starts, but that's many months away. well, actually, only one...damn.
