Fangirl Nation: B.A.P to Release Third Single Album; "Don't Do It" and Thoughts on the Group

Oct 18, 2012 19:23

I remember that one night I was watching "Twinkle" by TaeTiSeo, and I was introduced to four very attractive members of EXO-K. EXO was a rookie group and I was syked about them. Following EXO, I heard of a couple other rookie groups released then; NUE'ST, Teen Top, Ace of Angels, and of course, B.A.P. I was so sure about B.A.P being amazing because of their image. The 'ghetto' image is something you don't see often in the K-Pop industry. There's a difference between 'ghetto' and 'bad boy/bad girl' for me when it comes to music. There's always the classy and artistic groups like F.T Island and Brown Eyed Girls. And then you have the outgoing electric-pop groups with the oddly lit rooms like Super Junior and Girls' Generation. Let's not forget about the 'bad boys and girls', 2NE1 and Bigbang. Surprisingly, B.A.P falls under artistic, mainstream, and 'bad boy'.

Why Aren't you Shutting up and Getting to the Point?

Alrighty, then. B.A.P stands for 'Best, Absolute, Perfect'. The group has six members; Yongguk, Himchan, Daehyun, Youngjae, Jongup, and the youngest of their young, Zelo. Let's get real; if you're a 'baby' (their official fanclub name), this stuff is all in the B.A.P textbook. So they had a couple great hits; Power, Warrior and Crash. Their best hit is probably "No Mercy", it showed what B.A.P is all about. Anyways, their third album is coming out October 23rd, 2012. It's titled 'Don't Do It'. The concept of "No Mercy" was 'playful troublemakers', according to maknae Zelo. The concept of 'No Mercy' was truly what I called 'K-Pop perfection'. It symbolized the meaning behind their lyrics, had that 'electric video attribute' K-Pop fans love, and still had the 'bad boy' feel. Although I'm excited for "Don't Do It", I feel like the teaser photos are representing a side of B.A.P I've never seen before:

These teaser photos prove to show each theme each member has been given. Main vocalist Daehyun (top left corner) has an image of himself that I've never seen. He tends to be classy and fancy in B.A.P MV's, almost like Bigbang's Daeseung. Anyways, I'm really excited about listening to B.A.P's new album. Babyz, be on the lookout for more info on the album!
