PNC Bank is the flagship subsidiary of PNC Financial Services. Originally known as Pittsburgh National Bank and Provident National Bank based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

I don't know what possessed me to look that up, but now I know for sure that PNC is from Pittsburgh and not Philadelphia.

Now on to answer more of my burning questions.
