random note in Asia 1

Haven't update my journal for a while. My 3 days in Tokyo, Japan flew by very quickly, but I had a lot of good food. I'll post some of them tomorrow. Mike took me to the largest fish market in the world to have some 300% fresh raw fish. It's like the best raw fish I'd had in my whole life. I went back for a second meal the day after. After that, I went to Haneda Airport and bought 8 airplane models (6 ANA and 2 JAL). That trip took the whole afternoon.

Unfortunately, I checked the email one day too late and I missed my lunch appointment with Kumiko, who is working in Ginza, Tokyo. (for those who don't know, Ginza is like midtown Manhattan full of business skyscrapers, the heart of the commercial city) I bet she's the future rich and powerful trillionaire. Right now I'm updating this journal in the public library. Their internet is free, but they blocked out all the gaming sites, including Blizzard.com. I can't imagine how the mainland government will censor Internet when I go to Shanghai this coming Monday. I'll update one more time tomorrow in case I can't use livejournal in Shanghai.

I just had an Indian set lunch (appetizer, main course curry with naan, mango lazzi, coffee) for $12USD, including tips. (picture later)  That meal probably costs at least $20 in USA. Hong Kong is a food paradise!!

I checked my Spring 2006 grade: I got 2 A, 1 A- and 2 B+.

Tomorrow: picture update
