Ten Thoughts in random order:
1. I crossed the Hudson River. It does look like the river / hilly scene from War of the Worlds, even though it was a lame movie.
2. I went to Woodbury Commons
Outlet (thus crossing the Hudson River) with the graduate student
excursion trip on Saturday. $5 roundtrip (compare to $30 if I take a
bus there) with breakfast served. I got a glove, a polo sweater, a
comforter, a shirt, blueberry chocolate, and a tie. Happy Saturday
shopping :o)
3. I saw forests, wide highways, grassy hills, rural areas, individual
'East-Coast style' houses, stereotypical Republican-Suburban-White
families (in the outlet) for the first time in 4 months!~!~!~! It's
amazing how I was 'trapped' by the urban city life.
4. other observations I made during the bus trip:
4a. There are a lot of Elite-Class shops in upper Madison Ave.
4b. The Brox looks very boring.
4c. Christmas decorations are everywhere in the city.
4d. They put up a huge Christmas Tree near the Washington Square Arch.
4e. Didn't have a chance to see the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree
5. It was snowing yesterday
(see my previous post). To reply some questions, the snow came sliently
during the night around 3am. It creeped in to the lonely night scene.
Then it was kind of foggy, or less visible because it was snow
afterall. Things started turning white quietly, especially cars on the
sideways. A layer of thin icy piled on the balcony handle within
minutes.
6. I felt sleepy and anti-social today. So I stayed in my room for the
whole day. I was too lazy to get down to the WAC council meeting.
7. For some reason, one of my post didn't show up in public. I'll repost it here:

7a. I met someone from my high school
the other day when we were purchasing coffee. We didn't know each other
that well, but situation was like, "Did you go to Piedmont High?"
"Yeah.." "Wait, are you..." "OMG! What are you doing here?" It was
really really random.
7b. Monday's presentation was
bad... really bad. The previous group did took like an hour to do their
presentation and left us with 20 mins to do ours. We rush through
everything and we were not prepared. Compare to my wonderful exciting
Samoa presentation back in November, this was like an F. sigh...
7c. My roommate is listening to Indian pop-music right now... His professor gave them a Scheme
homework and he was whining Scheme is so annoying and useless. I was
like, HAHAHA I learned all those few years ago (in CS61A). I helped him
on a list/car/cdr/append problem.
7d. I feel like private university students (in this case NYU) are more whiny
than public universities students. In my class, people whine about
homework/due date/materials (my professor assigned a homework. People
complained it's too late in the semester and they have too much work.
What kind of reasoning is that?); outside of class, people whine about
their schedules; in the restaurant yesterday, some undergrad kids next
to my table were whining about they don't want to eat meat in a
meat-specialty restaurant (dude! don't get in a restaurant if you don't
want to eat... that simple!) See, I'm whining people are complaing too
much too... strange world.
7e. This is a really random post.

8. I went to a sushi place with my friends for dinner on Friday near my
apartment. All the chefs are Japanese. The sashimi was really good.
9. By the way, the long promised NYC Chocolate Show pictures are up in my facebook. Feel free to check them out.
10. I need to go back to my 12 pages paper.
