it has begun

Alrighty... so it's been a while since I've updated. Well, a while since an update that doesn't leave you clueless. Anyways... It's monday, and classes have officially begun. I had one of my math classes earlier this morning, and I'm currently chillin in the Towers Computer Center until German starts.

I moved back up to Mt. Pleasant about a week and a half ago [Friday Aug. 19] because I am working at the Woldt/Emmons front desk this semester. I came up on a Friday, and we had a couple of meetings later on that night. Saturday was when the Leadership Safari people moved in, so I worked then too. I worked some random shifts for the rest of the week, but other than that, I just unpacked and hung out with Seckel and the W/E e-board. Pretty much... some working, some getting to know people, some meetings, and some unpacking... that was my week.

Yesterday we had a desk meeting and picked out schedules for the first two weeks of school. We only picked them for the first two weeks of school because some people's schedules might change, and you don't want to ge stuck working something if you have class at the same time. Here's how my schedule ended up...

Monday:
work 4-7 am
class 9-9:50
class 11-11:50

Tuesday:
class 9:30-10:45
class 11-11:50
class 1-2:50
work 3-6 pm

Wednesday:
work 4-7 am
class 9-9:50
class 11-11:50
work 3-6 pm

Thursday
class 9:30-10:45
class 11-11:50
class 1-2:50
work 4-6 pm [mail]

Friday:
class 9-9:50

every other weekend I work
Saturday:
7am-1pm
Sunday:
4-7 am

We'll see how that works for the first two weeks... I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it.

Today is Monday, so I got up today at 3:30, got dressed, and went to work. I finished one of my books this morning while working, so I guess that's cool. I went to class, and, like I said, am chillin in the computer lab. I'm really really tired, and brewing a bit of a headache. I have german after this and then I can go back eat some lunch and take a nap.

Another thing... yesterday was mainstage. It was actually pretty fun. I didn't really like it that much my freshman year, but this year I hung out with some fun people, so it was good. I saw Scott Darling, a guy I used to work with. It was kinda weird, 'cuz he doesn't go here, but that's alright. And, Changes played. And I enjoyed it, 'cuz I haven't seen them in a long time... and I'm really excited 'cuz on October 15, they're playing at Rubbles... and you know who else is going to be there... Huckleberry Groove. Sweet.

Oh well, I need to get going... hopefully I haven't forgotten all of the German I learned in high school
