oh my goodness
ok, so yeah. Today, Anthony, Kevin and I went to the DCI show in Kalamazoo. I'll get back to the actual trip later, but now I need to talk about the way home. On the way home, we were on 696 almost exiting onto 75 when there was this huge lake of water covering a few lanes. Woah man, you couldn't see it until you were almost in it. When I saw it I got so scared. We ended up driving right through it and we were fine, but when I looked back, the van next to us was in the wall. Nothing extremely serious, but yeah. I got really freaked out. There was also one spot where there was water on I-75, but we got through that just fine. Oh man... remind me never to drive when it's raining.
OK, so now back to the afternoon. It was a pretty crappy afternoon. I really wanted to wear my new blue shirt today, 'cuz it would have been fun, but then it was raining here, and I didn't really want to deal with it. So I ended up wearing just a t-shirt instead. Then, when we were almost there, it started raining like mad. When we got there, we ended up parking in some random parking lot and walking down to the stadium. We walked around a bit and then saw Capital Regiment and some other corps perform. Then we had to walk back to the car to get some stuff for Dan, and then we talked with Dan for a while. It was really good to see him.
And for those of you who know Dan, you know how he is. You know, with hugs and what not, and I don't know... right now, I really miss having a boyfriend. seriously, this is ridiculous... but that's enough on that subject.
It's pretty late right now and I need to get to bed... I have to get up for church in the morning.
