Hello again...

It seems like I have taken some time off from livjournal for a bit, but I will try to start updating semi-regularly. A lot has gone down since the last time I posted. You won't be hearing all of the boring play-by-play action, but I'm sure you'll get the gist once you're finished reading this...

We didn't end up going up north for Memorial Day Weekend. It was kind of a bummer, but some cousins wouldn't have been there, and then others would be coming and going, and we would have had to drive two cars and a bunch of other nonsense like that. I feel bad 'cuz I think I let some people down by not going, but there's nothing I can do about that now.

Dan left for drum corps a while ago. I've talked to him on the phone a few times... hopefully I'll get to see him perform at least once this summer.

My english class still sucks. The good thing is that after today, I only have FOUR MORE CLASSES!!! All we do in this class is a bunch of shit. Boring, pointless newspaper article reading and reviewing, and nonsense talk about the dictionary. We've had to write two papers so far, and I haven't done too bad at all. I got a B on the first one, which was fine by me [ah ha ha Seckel... FRIENDS] 'cuz I did it all the night before the paper was due. Then on the second paper, I got an A-, which was also fine, 'cuz all I need is a C in the class to get the three credits to transfer from OCC to CMU. Right now, I'm sitting in english class. I'm supposed to be working on paper number three, but I decided to take a bit of a break from reading about Global Warming.

I started watching ALIAS last Friday. Seckel brought volume one over to my house and I kinda haven't stopped watching. I finished season 1 last night, and will probably start season 2 this afternoon when I get home.

Last week, we went to my Uncle Mike's new house. I haven't seen my cousins in what seems like forever, seriously, probably a year. I was really surprised at how well they were doing. They have both grown up so much. We got a tour of their new house... all 9,000 square feet. It's huge, but beautiful. My Uncle Mike is getting married this Saturday. The woman he is marrying has four kids. Her husband died a few years back in a car accident. For the most part, I think my cousins get along with their future step-siblings, so that's good. I met my uncle's fiancee, but not her kids. They weren't at the new house.

Claudia's birthday was not too long ago either. She had to work on her birthday, so we celebrated briefly when she got home. Jake and Seckel wanted to have a surprise party for her, to try to keep spirits up, so we did that last Friday. It went well I think. Then this past Sunday, we had her actual birthday dinner. We had all sorts of good stuff... steak, mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, corn casserole, rubber... mmmm... Jake, Kelsey, and Anthony all joined us as well. Wow.. lots of birthday for Claudia.

Woah buddy... June 24, Andrea and Mike are getting married! It's crazy to think that it's so soon.
my date = Audrey
my dress = the coolest
my shoes = eh... need to work on the shoes
my hair = I don't know yet
It should be exiting. Seckel was invited [Andrea lived with us first semester] and she's taking Lindsay Schultz as her date. Jake will also be there, obviously as Claudia's date. It will be interesting to see where Andrea puts Jake... probably at my family's table, maybe with Seckel? Who knows... Claudia is one of the bridesmaids, so she'll be at the head table. Crazy stuff.

I don't know what else to say. I think I'm probably already boring you all, the few of you that read this anyways. I will probably be back and update in a few days.
