So on Tuesday night, May 7, justom and I went to see Talley's Folly, featuring Danny Burstein and Sarah Paulson.

As many or most of you know, I was in theatreatfirst's 2005 production of this play back in Boston, so it's very close to my heart.

( not really a review, just some personal commentary )

Sunday morning: Crawled home at 4:45am -- well, got a ride home, thank you ablock -- from the theatreatfirst cast party, at the gracious abode of heliopsis, Armigero. The latest I've stayed out in many months... and totally worth it. I just got my February pay stub. It's the 28th? Already?? How did THAT happen? Purim feels much too close already (and technically it's delayed a month to begin with). Please, oh, please don't make me think about Pesach.

Went to sleep at midnight. Awoke, *ding!*, at 5am. How aggravating. I wonder if I could convince my body to take another 2-hour nap instead of lying awake thinking about the play.

Wonderful lazy day today (where "today" = "Saturday"). Slept until 10am. Did not actually get out of bed until noon. Did not actually get dressed until 5pm. I begin to understand why the theater life is so alluring.

I did some writing yesterday to flesh out my character work for Talley's Folly.

Technically, it's the closest thing to a short story I've written in years. (In fact, it felt a lot like writing fanfic; but I suppose it's in a way very much the same thing.)
