Black-Hat-sploitation?

The Tremont St. 20s & 30s are ON for The Hebrew Hammer!

Adam Goldberg struts his stuff as Mordechai Jefferson Carver, Jewish superhero and "Semitic super stud." His mission: to save Chanukah from the evil, anti-Semitic Son of Santa, played by a wonderfully berserk Andy Dick. A tribute to and spoof of blaxploitation films of the ’70s, the film features a great soundtrack and appearances by Melvin and Mario van Peebles. From start to finish, the film is politically incorrect and absolutely hilarious.

Thursday, Nov. 13, 9:15pm, at the Coolidge Corner Theatre, for the Boston Jewish Film Festival. Director Jonathan Kesselman will be on hand. (And, if I am not mistaken, Honorable Menschen will also be giving a brief performance before the screening. Bonus!)

Who wants to go?? I just ordered a group of 25 tickets, but could augment it tomorrow a.m. if there's a surge of interest, so comment if you're in. You know you want to.
