Sounds like a good year on the whole. Glad all is well! Weight control is really tough when you have a small child and are low on sleep. I think the best you can do for right now is try to keep from gaining, and then plan to get a handle on that in a couple years when things are less chaotic. (The time goes by really quickly.)

Sorry to hear about the job uncertainty. I hope that whoever buys the company does so because they like it and want to keep it running!

I trust that whoever buys the company will do so in order to keep PARTS of it running, but it's entirely likely that they would "streamline" other parts. And Creative Services is highly likely to be a redundancy (depending, of course, on who the buyer might be). Of course, one of my buddies over in IT said this morning that he assumes the *IT* department would be first on the chopping block, so.... who knows??
