Happy birthday,
xiphias!
The show is over.
I am not sad, yet, although I think I will be. Yesterday in shul I was very sad for a while. One useful thing about a tallit (prayer shawl) is that you can pull it up over your head and create an enclosed, private, sacred space in which to daven or pray (in the ways that they are not synonymous) or let the tears drip off your lashes.
Tiger Boy's parents, visiting for the weekend, came to the show last night (by themselves). I didn't know they were there until afterwards. I was floored. In a good way. :-) Happy to see them; they seemed happy to see me. And they said nice things about the show. But then, so have most people.
underwatercolor and
minerva42 stayed to help with strike, came out for drinks with us, and -- after much Triple-A-related misadventure -- ended up crashing with me. They're in my shower right now. Hee. It's been really fun hanging with them.
I have made my
Sally entry public now, so feel free to go read it if you couldn't before. (It still won't make much sense unless you got to see the play, though.)
