Yep, she's a sun beam magnet. :) I had just started my Yoga when she came and plopped down next to me on the mat. I just had to get a camera.

She looks exactly like our cat. The biggest difference is the yoga mat. I don't have any of the exciting ones.

It's a Hugger Mugger Ultra Tapas Mat ("ultra" because it's 1/4" thick as opposed to the usual 1/8"). They make them with and without the Aztecesque lines. Since I was always such an Iyengar geek, I thought they'd come in useful. And have they ever. I just started going to a new studio last week, and the teachers are extraordinarily precise.

Someone on VF (lynblair?) wrote to me last year to say that she had SEVEN cats who all looked exactly like mine. :)

Do you do Yoga often? Which are your favorite videos?

Ummm- I used to do yoga often, but now I'm an unmotivated loser. So, I'm concentrating on doing easy FIRMs till I get more energy. And, that seems to be happenieng pretty fast, so if I exercise tomorrow and Friday, I will probably feel pretty good. At least that is what I'm telling myself.

I did just order the Baron book since everyone is talking about it for Sadhana. Which I shoudl have done, but I am totally not that organized, so I am doing it in theory.

It's cool that you are into Iyengar. Right now I have been so lax I have no idea what I even like any more. But, I do intend to find out. Maybe next fall when the kids are in school though. Right now- I need the efficiency of the FIRM so I can get other stuff done too.

I have to post a pic of my cat- she looks so similar- she doesn't have the dark spot on her chin, and she has a white stripe down her back (not like a skunk, thank you).
