Top 10 (ok 6, ok I thought of some more) games we bought at GenCon and haven't played yet, but that I really want to play:
10. Rommel in the Desert: Block war game. I want to improve my wargame skills for Asia Engulfed.
9. Cold War CIA vs KGB: recommended from the Spiel & I thought it sounded fun.
8. ETI: Estimated Time to Invasion: A cooperative game where you try to defeat aliens who are invading earth.
7. Thebes: Don't know much about this one except that it was a Spiel des Jahres nominee last year and that it sounded like a fun game.
6. Imperial: Supposedly a shorter version of Diplomacy. I've always wanted to play Diplomacy, but am deterred by the prohibitive play time.
5. Container: Tim liked this one. Don't know anything about it.
4. Metropolys: Didn't get to play this one but saw it being played. Looks fun!
3. Wealth of Nations: I've heard a lot about this like it's a purely negotiation game and trading game, and that women like it. Yay!
2. Toledo: Martin Wallace game by Mayfair. Actually come to think of it; this is the 2nd Martin Wallace game we picked up. I want to play the other one too, but I can't remember what it's called.
1. Battlestar Galactica: a cooperative game that sold out in the morning the second day. This looks really cool!
