(no subject)
Made it back from Texas safe and sound. It was weird though, usually it is really hot there, but it was cooler in San Antonio than it was in NC.
The Graduation went off pretty well, it was really long though. My nephew was on the first row so he walked pretty early but we had to sit through all the others and it took forever. The cool thing they did at graduation was they had a video conference set up so the troops in Iraq could watch the ceremony since a lot of the graduates had family there. Like they had these 2 huge screens hanging from the ceiling and they were showing the people cross the stage and when they had a father or something in Iraq they would put their image in the corner. Pretty cool. My sister cried a lot, lol. Now he is leaving in July to go to college in Arizona.
Yesterday before we went to the airport, we went to the Riverwalk in San Antonio. That is like the coolest place I think I have ever seen, They have a river actually going through the middle of a mall and all these resturants and bars. They have boats going down the river giving tours and stuff. Really cool. I could see myself living there but I would have alot to get used to with the traffic.
Going to find food in our sparse kitchen, later gators.
