Lesson #6: Chicks Dig Pengin-san

Last Wednesday, Greyson, Jesus, Rob and I went to Shinjuku to look for some costumes. No luck at the first place we checked out. All the costumes were gay, seriously. Decided to check out Takashimaya, an department store. They had a pretty good selection: ninjas, sentai, various animals, etc. Jesus and Rob chose tanuki suits w/huge balls. Greyson

It was around 5000 yen. 115 yen = $1

It seems like not that many Japanese know when Halloween is. I would have to explain why I'm wearing the costume to strangers on the street. Yeah, I wore it on the way home. Since I paid that much for it I figured I might as well wear it as much as I can.

awesome, i'll buy one if you don't mind picking it up and shipping it over here? i'm about 5' 9" and 130 pounds, hopefully that's enough info to get the right size. let me know if there aren't any big/tall enough =/

I'll check if they still have it since I didn't exactly buy it in a costume shop. It's really just a one size fits all suit. I forget what height it goes up to but I think 190 cm. I'll need to see if I still have the bag. If they still have it I'll definitely pick it up.
