a note on music

although the song is great i actually cant put in the song i want. its called "Song for Bob" and its from the assassination of jesse james by the coward robert ford. the entire soundtrack si quite honestly the most beautiful soundtrack i think i have ever heard. completely orginal music from nick cave and warren ellis. now the reason i love it: imagine your passing through a meadow and you stop and stare at the hay as the wind is blowing over it and you see the gentle wave passing through the entire field. a sense of calm and peace washes over you. an acceptance of all things and knowing in that moment, that if you were to die right there that it would be ok because you got to see this last thing of beauty. something truely beautiful; simple, elegant, a force beyond our control. your heart swells because you dont think you will ever see something this simple that is so right. then as quickly as it comes, its over. like an orgasm, it washes away and leaves you feeling whole and you turn to your lover and smile. a feeling of peace. a happiness unknown to you until that point. thats this song.

I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at the floor and I see it need sweeping
Still my guitar gently weeps

I don't know why nobody told you
how to unfold you love
I don't know how someone controlled you
they bought and sold you

I look at the world and I notice it's turning
While my guitar gently weeps
With every mistake we must surely be learning
Still my guitar gently weeps

I don't know how you were diverted
you were perverted too
I don't know how you were inverted
no one alerted you

I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at you all
Still my guitar gently weeps
