It's just a shimmy and a shake
I've not really much to say on here today, except it's been a week of nice post!
Famously, on Monday, I recieved a nice little package from somewhere containing a special copy of a fab new album by the killers. I spent a coupla hours playing it into my computer so that I could save the songs as mp3s and then spent the rest of the night listening to it at an extreme volume, I feel sorry for my next door neighbour - I suppose that was my treat for him on his 90th birthday! Alas I cannot send you the files, so don't ask, and if any muggle from Island Recs reads this, do not worry, I fully intend to buy both the CD and limited edition blue spangled vinyl on release day from a chart registered store... I will also tell everyone in the world that it's the first album of the year that's actually got me a) excited and b) pumped up about new music again. It's phenominally good.
Yesterday I got my june 10th postal vote confirmation sent - which is really important to me seeing as I'll be out of the country come the day to decide all things Mayoral and Europe. And finally, today, I got an absolutely gorgeous card from lil_nat_nat :D
So long as it's not a red bill, post is always a good thing.
It's sad that I point out that if I go out tonight I'll be watching Jetplane Landing exactly two weeks before my Jetplane actually does land. (does that make any sense??!!)
