“Nnng,” Yunho mumbled nuzzling into his pillow, before waking up suddenly when he realised that he’s on the bed. “Changmin...” he whispered as he jumped out of bed, running down the floor.
“Mum hav-“His sentence stopped midway, as he saw Changmin sitting down by the table with his parents constantly pushing food onto his plate. He met Changmin’s eyes, who seemed to be pleading him to stop his seemingly overly-excited parents, his cheeks filled with food that he looked like a puffer fish. Yunho held back a chuckle, before saving Changmin, deciding that the poor boy had his fill.

“Sorry about earlier on,” Yunho started, as the duo walked towards the bus-stop, slightly embarrassed about his parents’ action. Yunho did manage to stop his parents from over-feeding the poor captain, before bring the said boy to wash up a little before he let him leave for home. Even though Yunho wanted to keep the brown-haired boy with him for a while longer, but Changmin had looked much better then when he found him...and he knew Changmin have to go home soon. It would not reflect well of him if he disappear for a long time without informing his family.
“Nah, it’s alright. You were right about your mother’s cooking. It’s great.” Changmin complimented.
Then the two walked in silence.
“...Thank you,” Changmin said upon reaching the bus stop, facing the front.
“For?” Yunho asked even though he could guess the answer, his hands tucked in his side pockets as he looked up at Changmin, a light smile played on his lips.
“Everything.” Changmin whispered, a mirroring smile on his face as he turned to look at Yunho for one last time, as the bus pull into the stop.

A week passed. Changmin didn’t turn up in school at all, busy with his father’s funeral, comforting his grieving family and going about to get the company back in running order.
He barely had a wink of sleep.
Neither did Yunho.

Yunho tossed around in his bed. It’s been two weeks since he last saw Changmin. Two weeks since weeks since he heard his voice, two whole weeks since he walked home with him.
School had never been this boring. He never knew how lessons could be so dry and meaningless. Libraries felt like a prison to him. The rooftop is too quiet for his liking.
Yunho had never known that school will be boring. It suddenly occurred to him that before Changmin came into his life, as a friend that is, he never had much of ‘a life’.
Having finished their year-end examinations, Yunho had no motivation to study. With university entrance exams in near two months time, there he is wasting his life away, doing nothing but thinking of Changmin every single second.
Is he eating well?
Is he resting?
What happened exactly?
Why didn’t you come to school?
Why didn’t you call me?
Have you...been thinking of me?
Even though Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun have tried all sorts of ways to talk to him, he isn’t in the mood to be entertained. While it is true that they have provided some sort of distraction to him during breaks, and he knew that they wouldn’t mind staying with him if he ever requested, he felt selfish for doing so. They have their own lives to lead, and it won’t be fair for them to spend so much time over his problems.

Three weeks passed, and Jaejoong thinks Yunho is acting like a zombie. All he does is to sleep, eat, study and give a fake laugh to show that he’s listening to Junsu’s gag when he isn’t.
But he can’t help him.
Only Changmin can.

Three weeks turn to four, and Yunho looked paler than before. If he didn’t talk much before, he isn’t even talking now. Like some lost soul, no, he looked like he lost his soul.
“Where the heck is Changmin?!” Jaejoong asked Yoochun, who could only shrug.
If Yunho couldn’t contact him, who could?

By the fifth week Yunho broke down. He could never forget the flyers posted up by the school’s editorial club.
“SHIM COMPANY HEIR, SHIM CHANGMIN TO BE ENGAGED WITH AYUMI LEE, LEE HOUSEHOLD’S SOCIALITE.”
He should have known.
Changmin would never have loved him the way he does for him.
The meaning of ‘friend’ had never made him felt so bitter before.

A/N: Hey guys, miss me?
This is a really short chapter, but I promise the next one is going to be longer. Much longer. I've finished it, so I might be posting it tomorrow.
And anyone liking the poster? I know smurf95 is liking it, and so am I. How about you guys? XDD.
And I am already formulating some dbsk chapter-ed novels, my next 'project'. It's not a songfic, and definitely not drabbles (so the chapters will be about 2-3k in length). It's gonna be about 15-30 episodes, depending. Currently I have two in mind that I would want to pursue -god, my friend will kill me if she knew I'm writing instead of studying!-:
#1: The Devil's Temptation. (tentative title): The basic idea comes from 'Pawnshop no. 8' (directly translated from chi). It borrows some concepts and ideas, but I won't be following it closely because I've never read the book nor watched the show in detail.
Basically it's about a pawnshop owned by a devil, and it's only visited by people who are willing to pawn off their most valuable possession: be it loyalty, kindness, physical attributes or even the soul itself in return for something they desire. The character template have not been finalised, but I'm deciding among Yunjae, Jaemin and Hosu.
#2: Of Light and Darkness, Angels and Demons (tentative title): In which a mixture of western and greek myths and legends of how heaven is like, with angels, fallen angels, and demons. Basically the people are sent to earth on missions, and they have comed together without knowing each other's real identity. Character template is not finalised either, and pairings-wise I'm choosing between 2U, minsu and Jaechun.
You guys can get to vote which one do you want to see me writing, and I will be doing this throughout the year, but I can't promise too much updates till my As are over. But I will definitely do the story. ^______^ So voting commence till I've finished this story. Just include it in your comment~
Right, before I forget...does anyone want a pdf file for this? LOL -I feel so ego for asking this- If so I'll make one, so no worries.
And some...teaser. The epilogue...will include a smut scene. Shh~XD
I've just submitted my hostel application form so I guess I'll be going in by next week or two weeks later. Hopefully I get to room with my friend whom I submitted the form together with. I'll try to finish the main story by then. Wait for me? XDD
