listen, after the war

Feels better when your bones and muscles don't hurt like hell. What a stupid place. Hisoka, thanks for the help.

Ichigo. You better be okay today, or I'll kick your ass.

...I should find somewhere to live. This 'not sleeping' deal is beginning to affect me. Nevermind that. I'll be staying at the Temple. Thanks, Greed.

post-curse, still need a place to live in, i can feel the angst coming soon, best friends i can't recognize, what the fuck is this shit

Ah, sorry about yesterday. That was a really bad way to welcome you back to the city. Is your leg all better today?

It's doing okay, and it's fine, I hoped you were...affected, or whatever. Sorry I don't remember you, though...

That's good, if you ever need a healer...? And uh yeah, I was rather.... squirrelly yesterday.

It's all right, that happens around here quite a bit. I've even got notes to myself when it inevitably happens to me.

I'll be fine. So...what's your name, then?

I'm Riou, pleased to meet you again. You've been adjusting well to the city? Seen the guides and everything?

Nice to meet you, and yeah. Found a place to live in, too...

That's good. Food and rent are pretty much free to everyone underaged, so most people just pick an apartment. But the hot springs and temple are quite nice.

I just...don't like taking food for free like that. What's a bit of work to stop me, then.

Ah, even the kids here tend to work, for spending money at the least. Until a few months ago we actually had more of a barter system going, trading buttons and hair and whatnot.

...sounds silly. I need my hair as it is, as a matter of fact.

Well, usually it was just a few strands of hair. Or lint. It was funny, but I rather preferred it, things got a bit more complicated with all these rainbow coins. Our money back home-- potch-- is much simpler.

Money's always complicated, if you ask me. But this rainbow one confuses me.

It basically follows the bands of the rainbow worthwise, starting with red as the cheapest. Except for some reason indigo is worth the most. I'm still not too clear about how much of one color is worth what in another, however. They tend to jump up 5x or 10x each color or something.

.........Like I said, complicated.

. . . . yeah. I can't help feeling some of the vendors may be taking advantage of me on this point. Luckily my sister and I have good sources of income.
