That's good. Food and rent are pretty much free to everyone underaged, so most people just pick an apartment. But the hot springs and temple are quite nice.
Ah, even the kids here tend to work, for spending money at the least. Until a few months ago we actually had more of a barter system going, trading buttons and hair and whatnot.
Well, usually it was just a few strands of hair. Or lint. It was funny, but I rather preferred it, things got a bit more complicated with all these rainbow coins. Our money back home-- potch-- is much simpler.
It basically follows the bands of the rainbow worthwise, starting with red as the cheapest. Except for some reason indigo is worth the most. I'm still not too clear about how much of one color is worth what in another, however. They tend to jump up 5x or 10x each color or something.
. . . . yeah. I can't help feeling some of the vendors may be taking advantage of me on this point. Luckily my sister and I have good sources of income.

It's all right, that happens around here quite a bit. I've even got notes to myself when it inevitably happens to me.
