I'm back in Los Angeles and things are pretty much back to normal. School started back up so most of my classes are during the day. Connor and Captain Holtz stay with Taylor while i'm in classes and Rhia changed my work schedule so that I'm mostly doing book work for her during the week and bartending on the weekend nights. Captain Holtz said he would be happy to stay with Taylor on the nights that Connor and I are are all working. Tuesday nights I have a psychology class, but that is only the night class I have to attend.
A few hours every night, I'm working with Taylor on his school work. I haven't had to hit the research books because there really hasn't been any visions since we've been back. Things are still eerily calm.
When we got back to LA, Gabe found out he'd been accepted at the University of Pennsylvania, full scholarship and everything. I guess he and Des talked it over and she didn't want him to give that up and she wasn't in a position to leave her job or us so they parted ways. Rhia said she was taking over paying for the girls apartment and Gabe's and she'd planned to maybe use Gabe's place as a guest apartment, but Galen expressed interest in renting it.
So, Gabe moved out and Galen moved in and after Christmas, Captain Holtz plans to travel back to Europe and see how the world has changed. It will be back to just Connor, Taylor and me in the house. I've loved having everyone here, but it will be nice to have the space and privacy again. Though, I hope Captain Holtz knows his room will remain his room and Galen and the girls can always stay here if need be.
