Wow. When I got the call this morning from Danny saying that all the film had been lost and we had to start the movie over, I wasn't expecting him to sound so...happy. I passed the phone over to Mike, because I sort of figured Danny was having a nervous break down or something. Turns out, Mike was kind of freaking out too. He hung up the phone and said we should head to the studio pronto.
So, we get there and Mike is ushered into a meeting with Danny and some guy I'd never seen before. The guy? He has this...I don't know, it's like I couldn't stop looking at him. Thing is, neither could anyone else. It was like we were all checking him out and he seemed to check us out too.
Next thing I know, Danny and Mike come out of the meeting all smiling and stuff and announce we are going a new direction with the movie. That Cruise was out and Damien Moore is in. I love Damien! I actually stood in line once to get his autograph when he was visiting Daytona.
I can't wait to meet him as his co-star. This is like, seriously, the best news ever.
