the best i ever had

30th May we went to Ikoi Japanese Restaurant @ Miramar Hotel for dinner.

This restaurant is very famous for their super fresh sashimi, and you have to make reservations 2 weeks in advance!, else they wont entertain you!
and we were seated at upstairs, where it is the VIP corner, where they will serve you exclusively.
yes really, and they only have 2 tables upstairs,
very exclusively indeed!

compared to downstairs, were it is said to be very small and crampy.
HAHA! too bad for them.
and the seating place upstairs is really like japanese style,
you gotta take off your shoes and sit on the floor.
lucky i didnt wear skirt, cos i got a feeling it will be like this.
see, i went to a korean restaurant before and its like this too.

and indeed the restaurant's reputation does not disappoint, the sashimi is very very fresh, the best i ever had!

and what's good of eating sushi and sashimi, but without some wasabi?

chicken wing; doesnt look nice, nor does it taste nice either.

well, they said this is nice, i do not know as i dont eat this kind of veggie! (cabbage looks disgusting to me)

and apparently most of their dishes consist of salmon.
we joked that since they only need some parts for the salmon sashimi, the rest of the parts of the salmon are used for different purposes. salmon slices, salmon in soup, salmon bits in sushi etc etc.

much like the shark fins soup, no? you tak only the fin ( which i think is the only edible part), and throw the shark back into the sea because the rest of the parts are inedible!

aunty rachel; i love taking candid shots of others haha, but not myself .

entertain me please.

and then we rounded off with ice cream.
a scoop of said green tea ice cream costs 6 bucks!
haha, airflown!
but its damn delish.

the so called "room".
where there's only 2 tables :))

oh, then when we walked out, the store where we eyed while passing by to the toilet earlier,
has finally opened!
what luck!, they happened to open to take stocktaking, what luck right!
and the boss is super friendly.
and we bought quite alot of stuff,
like my family bought almost 100dollars worth of stuff.
this mother, she bought 1 tub of whitening cream of something, costs around 40bucks.
she say now she can EVERYDAY do!! crazy or wad, she says she goes to June's, they charge her 30bucks every session when they do pedicure, so it's very worth it,
okay whatever, shall not complain because she paid for my stuff haha.

then we drove to Esplanade area, to do some walking.
hey you gotta walk after having such a sumptous dinner right?
so we drove to near the memorial area ( i think) then we walked to esplanade.

we finally made a move when it was close to midnight.

i love them blings!
i shall keep it for special occasion haha
