freaky halloween---probably the most weirdest experience ever and another very long entry
so halloween has come and gone.
the big party was saturday since halloween was on monday. kinda like any ordinary day til the evening.
we decided to go to this place called rockadundy (sp?) rd. apparantly it was an urban legend....the one where the girl and guy go into the woods, the guy gets out and doesnt come back. then the girl hears scraping on the roof and it turns out the guy hung himself or was killed or something and it was his feet scraping the roof. so first we watched the movie urban legend. that movie scared the shit out of me so bad when i first saw it last year and still freaked me out bad this time. definitely still makes me check my backseat everytime before i get in. so then 10 of us piled into 2 cars and took off around 10:30 when niki got out of work cuz she was the only one who knew where it was. obviously 10 of us cant all fit in katies durango, so me being the only other one with car keys outside, volunteered to drive the 2nd car. luckily i got niki with me so i led the way with billy laura jackie and niki while katie followed behind in her durango with matt neal jess and rex. took about half hour to get there, its this freaky ass road in the middle of nowhere really. i guess it like goes up a mountain and then all of a sudden it became a dirt road with enough room for only one car practically. and like i guess a bunch of people lived on this haunted road cuz there were houses. well this road was just about the scariest thing ever. nothing really happened while we were driving (thank goodness), but i dunno if it was the fact that it was halloween or the fact that niki kept telling us creepy stories about the road, the lake, and some of the houses on it, but i was SCURRRRED. all of a sudden, my 'check gages' light comes on. meaning, low fuel. now i knew i was low on gas, but i didnt think it was that low. so we all get a bit scarder cuz this seems straight out of a movie. a bunch of kids running out of gas on a creepy ass road near midnight on halloween miles and miles away from real civilizatoin. luckily our friends were behind us, but what could they do really. so yeah. but then we realize the light just came on, and we have about 40 miles or so before we actually run out, so we feel a bit better. we drive to the end of the road, and were gunna get out at this house that some husband guy killed his whole family in. niki said her and her friends had run around it before and it was just about the freakiest thing ever. but then it turned out people actually live in it again now, there were lights on and windex in the window. so we scratched that idea and decided to leave. we tried to tell katies car behind us what was going on but there was no cell reception so i pulled over and got out. to which everyone in my car started screaming WHAT ARE YOU DOING. gosh that was creepy being outside. so i informed them i needed gas and to follow me out. so we start leaving, and i took a wrong turn off the road. they didnt follow me, so as i started turning around, she hit the gas and flew off. ok, so thats fine. so we decide to let em go ahead and we'll go real slow the rest of the way back to see if anything happens. so were going about 15 or so, with no sight of them at all. well all of a sudden, dont we pass this hidden gated driveway when car headlights flick on right at our side and the car pulls out right after us. of course its katie, and of course we all start screaming and flipping out (except mr tough stuff billy of course). and of course dont they get the biggest laugh out of that after. jerks.
FREAKIEST PART EVER
so then we get back to the beginning of the road there where theres this gazebo, which niki says is haunted. apparantly, some little boy was hit by his drunk driver and died there and they put the gazebo up to commerate his life but he still haunts it. so we decide to try and go into it. me jackie and niki get out and run back to katies car to tell them about it. what happened next is kind of a blur, but next thing i know, i hear a horse hoof sound and i hear jackie yelling THERES A HORSE. i turn to look at the fenced in field behind me, and sure enough i see a white tannish horse standing at the fence. i scream and turn around and run back to my car, as do jackie and niki. then we turn back around again like 7 seconds after and look at the field. theres no horse there. granted its dark, annd we figure the horse was probably scared by our screams. well then katie turns her car around and flashes her lights on the field. theres no horse there. theres nothing there, no place for a horse even. just a large empty field. the fence is broken even, so its not like they could put a horse there cuz he would get out. so that was real freaky. niki said that sometimes they used to hear horse hooves chasing them out, but could never see any horses. scary shit man. then we went in the gazebo, but that wasnt that fun, so we left after like 15 seconds cuz its freaky. then we had an adventure to the gas station where we lost the other car cuz they didnt follow us so we assumed they went exploring on their own. then we went back like 15 minutes out of our way to go to this cemetary, but once we got there, we decided not to drive in cuz a, it was effing freaky- b, we didnt wanna get in any trouble - and c, it was disrespectful. so we came back to the suite and watched some freaky haunted show and made fun of it.
