(no subject)
so i drove home once again today. another doc appt, this time for an ecnocardiogram or whatever its called to check out my heart murmur that my doc claims i have. it went fine. but first i went to walmart and spent $33 on things i didnt really need...and some i did: fish food, gravel for their tank, a candy bar, AA batteries, AAA batteries, 3 ps2 games for $10 (not even lying, it was an amazing deal), and an at home french manicure kit. to which i spent 2 hours having ris do my manicure then erasing it and doing myself and then doing hers. turns out im pretty good at it, who wouldve thought. ive made the hour long trek to dudley like 3 times in the past 2 weeks and its getting old. its always nice to come home, but im just sick of driving it. getting to see marissa's beautiful face though, well, that makes it all worth it, baby.
in other news, i got a job. final frickin ly. its a seasonal part time job at old navy, so 1. there goes all my paychecks, and 2. there goes my month long winter vacation. old navy is like my favorite ever so im real excited about it, but not so excited about the fact its only seasonal. i had an interview on monday. it went very very well. then monday at dinner burlington coat factory called me and set up an interview for tuesday. i got a call 20 minutes before i left for my interview on tuesday from old navy saying i got the job. i was happy. 7.75 an hour. then i went to the interview. the guy said i had one of the really good apps out of a crapload of bad ones. he was like practically handing me the job til i said i had to go home for breaks. then i said i might stay over winter break, and he told me to call back if i could arrange it. but they want a lot of hours (25-27 a week) and plus the place is just about the stinkiest store ive ever been into. but it made me realize that if i wanted the job (which i had already accpeted hahaha) at old navy that i would have to stay at school over winter break. and thanksgiving too, even tho thats only like 3 days so its not a big deal. i plan on coming back for like a week/week and a half or so around christmas to be with family and friends. i gotta arrange that all with the school though, thatll be a pain. but hopefully everything works out.
