i haven't written in here for so long!
it's probably a good sign. i've been good.
yesterday i finished my last day of training at Unos....so i'm officially a hostess there, the one on newtno corner...it's really a fun job because there's so much going on at once that you're occupied up until when you go...and when someoent ells you it's time you're like whoa!? really? cos it flew so fast. and it made my night last night when amanda and ricky showed up when i was getting off so that i ate my food while they ate dessert...it was so nice of them. then ricky and i finally saw empire records!
so we'd sent in a thing to carnegie mellon showing them that i got more grant/scholarship money from rochester than they gave me...they gave me more loans but still, higher ratio of stuff i have to pay back than at rochester. so i'd asked for another 5000 in scholarship cos that would be about what rochester gave me...and i didnt expect to hear back from the financial aid office until like may or something...but i got an email telling me that theygave me 3,300 which is great! my mom even said, "eh, say five, maybe they'll give us three"...so that was exciting.
i can't belive 'm on vacation again....how spoiled i am...

oh and i got my housing application from CMU and my report card from school so i sat down and was going to open the report card first cos it'd make me sad and then the housing app from CMU cos it would make me happy...cos i didnt try very hard third term, i mean i did, but i didnt pay attention to what grades i was getting in the process...and i ended with straight As! i have all As for senior year except a B+ (fuckin 89) in AP english once. yay for me picking easy classes....
lastly, i'm a big loser without a date to the prom. i'm pretty sure i know who i'm going to ask...but it still sucks to have to be in the position i am in. just because stupid people are clinging to stupid, false hopes...grr...i hope he says yes and that we both have fun...i think we will...we'll see...
