i rode my bike to the library today. i crossed major streets, no one tried to hit me and i didn't die. i remember when i was 160 something and i tried to ride my bike around the house in encino.i thought i was gonna die. i'm in better shape in my 30's than i was in my 20's ( Read more... )

How're classes going?
I didn't get to tell you the otehr day, but I think you're awesome and totally brave for moving to a city where you don't know many people and going back to school and making a life with Eric. I don't think I could do that.

I have a tradition of forgetting my sister's bday (1/20) until she calls me for mine (1/21). It wasn't until the advent of "computer reminder alarms" that I started remembering. And her phone call always reminded me our mom's was coming up on 1/25.

It's a good thing E & J share a bday (8/23) or I'd be screwed. I recently have found myself having to look at the engraving on my wedding ring to remember the date. And I just KNOW that if V's bday wasn't "day after Christmas" I'd never remember it...

I think having food as your priorities is perfectly appropriate!!! Food is important!
