Remember back in November when I applied for that other promotion??
The promotion I'm going for now, is not with this same company, but still. I'm going to take a moment to nurse my wounded pride, and bitch. Watch this timeline:
* December, other person was promoted.
* February, she starts having an affair with one of her students. Note - she's newly married, AND her HUSBAND also works for the company.
* March, hubby gets laid off and she gets Employee of the month.
* April, new boyfriend has now been through training three times so they can be together. She leaves her husband for him. New bf gets fired. Now - neither hubby or bf are employed.
* May, she brings a fired employee (ie - new bf) into the office after hours without the knowledge or consent of management. Management is NOT pleased.
* June, new bf gets sent (back!) to jail for violating parole. She no longer has a place to live. She then has a nervous breakdown, ends up in a mental hospital for a month.
* July, she comes back for approximately 9 hours and quits.
* August - position is open again.
Somewhere in there, she is also spotted several different times by other employees out on the beach butt-ass naked, screwing new bf. Get a room! Pick a different beach! Something!!
Pardon me while I get just a little bit snarky and bitchy here, but what PRECISELY were they looking for, that they chose someone with that kind of character and values over me, to train new people and get them instilled in our corporate culture?
I'm praying every day that I get this promotion at my other job so that I no longer have to work for a company that defines insanity.
