Argh!
From the local DMV's web site, as I was looking this morning (and this wasn't there before when I checked earlier in the week, it just said Monday 5/31): "All MVA and VEIP offices will be closed on Friday, May 28, Saturday, May 29 and Monday, May 31, 2010 for Memorial Day."
Argh.
Okay, looks like I'm going next weekend, before I head for the Foggs' gig at the Washington Folk Festival since they're apparently performing Saturday instead of Sunday this year. (Back story: got the notice that my drivers' license expires in a little over two weeks -- admittedly got the notice a few weeks ago, but this is when I'm getting time to do something about it. I wanted to go renew it last weekend, but it's only open from 8:30 AM to noon on Saturdays and I slept until 1 PM. I'd go during the week if they were open besides 8:30-4:30 -- there's no way I can get back into MD that fast after work even if I left right at 4 PM, which hasn't happened in...yeah.)
On the heels (that was almost "hells" -- Freudian slip?) of a very frustrating Friday, this is not helping my mood at all.
