Life
Getting settled back into my dorm after being away since yesterday ~11. That basically means hang out online for a long time. So I'll spend it doing this.
So. LANWar was awesome. Aside from some people disappearing for large periods of time, it was awesome. I like hanging out with all the people there. Some other people, you know who you are, need to stop being stupid and come to these. I won some random crap but part of that crap was a battery backup for my computer, which is now hooked up. It's weird though. It has an ethernet port that goes out to a USB port on my computer... Oh and Adam Fry came and won a nineteen-inch, widescreen lcd monitor. Awesome!
So I planned on not sleeping at all today. After... 8 AM or so, I stopped being tired. Plus I have a 5 page paper I have to write tonight. Notice I'm not doing that. Oh, and a japanese test tomorrow and 60-ish pages to read for the same class that has the paper due. Though I basically finished the reading. Anyways, I planned on not sleeping, but my mom said that I should, so I went to lie down for an hour nap. Well, that turned into a 3 hour nap because nobody bothered to wake me up. Oh well, there goes 3 hours of paper time.
Just several minutes ago, I found out that I didn't get the job that I only applied for because they said I should. Oh well. I didn't apply in the first place for a reason. I might end up working some with Chris and some people with the IUGaming club. That'd be sweet. It would be cool if it could last a while or turn into some other job that I could have, because I am in need of a summer job.
I wanted my dad to look at my only good headphones (and when I say good, I mean GOOD) and try to fix their retardedly designed volume slider so I could actually listen to music again. But I guess he's been kinda down lately since he also applied for his boss' job and had just accepted the fact that he wasn't going to get it when someone who I've only heard described as (and in these words): "a bitch" decided to kick him out of his nice office so the person they DID give the position to could have it. Way to go, bitch.
It'd be really nice to have those too, since I can't listen to anything but my roommate yelling at someone on the phone.
Oh well, such is life, I guess.
