Faded pink lines along the wrist
Blackened bruises on the knee
Pain and injury to many to list
This pain and hurt is me!!!

A smile, the polite hello,
A smile, hides the truth,
A smile, good at deceiving,
A smile, hides the constant pain,

Don’t run, don’t hide, don’t cry
Stand and try to smile
cover the truth cover the past cover the lie

Run hide don’t look back
My story will kill you
That’s a fact!
