Yeah coming back from months in another culture can be really disorienting. Im sure youll love seeing everyone, but there will be a piece missing. And itll always be in japan. In a particular time and space in japan. I for one respect you tremendously for making the most of it. And ps dryers are highly overrated. Hope you live up your last few weeks, and just know that you can go on about the good old days with me and john any time. Well even play along like we were there, spying on you. Which we were of course.
You really should just get an account or something, even if you don't ever write in it.
And dryers are overrated until you have to hang everything out and it's all wrinkled and you don't have an iron or an ironing board and also your socks are all stiff and weird when you put them on.
I didn't have a drier in Italy and the washer always made my clothes smell kind of funny. But I didn't seem to mind... still, I do understand missing the little things (and I digress in the voice of John Travolta...)
Haha, McGregor is pretty cool--I'm glad we could reunite after he came to see Rising Appalachia with us almost a year ago. For some reason two beers made me really, really drunk on Saturday. John mentioned a whole conversation about Fear and Loathing that I don't even remember. I'm getting old...
And by the way, I do have TWO livejournals. Both were short-lived and focused mainly on, what else, self-pitying rants about my personal life. So I chucked that. I'm addicted to Facebook enough as it is.
So, you shall never know their identies! Never!!!! =)
Haha, what do you think this LJ is about? Me being vain and talking about how awesome I am? Noooo, self-pitying rants about my personal life are what my livejournal, and from what I can tell Livejournal at large, is about.
But yes, the little things... like beer that actually tastes good... driers... being able to understand what people are saying to you... I miss those. =P
