Inspiration ; 2012
- Now, how is it possible that I can finish an impossibly difficult assignment (graphics) for my Secret Santa in just a few hours and I can't even imagine a new header for myself, or a new icons or anything like that.
Anyway, since I'm doing so well I'll just continue making graphics for no reason at all :)

- I watched 2012 yesterday (finally). A better copy was worth waiting since I wasn't going to watch it at the theatre - it's 2 and a half hours long!!!
It was a pleasant surprise - much, much better than any other disaster movie so far! so it goes to my list of fav movies right away.
Yes, there was a "politically correct" mixture of all races and heartbreaking scenes involving children and pets (they didn't save the cat for a change...but they saved the dog...lol!) but that's about the only cliche used and it didn't feel too significant. The effects were amazing and the story flowed without stopping for (long) family dramas or "little stories about ordinary people". It was a good story, not like in the latest Terminator for example. In any case it felt more real. President refusing to save himself didn't feel pathetic, there weren't no 5 min long "dying scenes" involving some of the major characters and there was no miracle at the end, no saving the Earth at the last minute.
Is it possible that Hollywood is changing course and finally realizing that it's not enough to have great effects without a good story...?
