Festivids
Today I received my assignment email and..OMG...I'm so excited :D I pretty much had each vid I offered mapped out in my mind so I was prepared for anything, but to actually get one of the fandoms you really, really hoped for is just awesome! I can't wait to start as soon as I finish this post.
For those who have no idea what festivids is let me explain in few words. It's very similar to Secret Santa but in this case members are vidders and presents are vids we'll be making for each other. But not just any kind vids. They must be from a list of rare vided fandoms that we all nominated.
I offered 7 and requested 8 fandoms. I can't say what my offers are but I can try to help my gift vidder by giving him/her some additional details about what I generally like or dislike.

Dear Festividder
First I want to thank you for making a vid for me! I'm sure I'm going to love what ever you come up with (I'm very easy to please :) ) That said, I appreciate if you take the time to look at this letter especially since you are not obliged to do it or listen to anything I have to say :)
Music
I like all kinds of music, from classical music to hard rock and techno - basically anything that makes me feel good. I can only exclude trash metal and teen singers/bands or anyone that sounds like that (only Flyleaf and Paramore comes to my mind right now). I used to like those kind of voices for a while but since so many other bands/singers started copying that style it became annoying. I hope this makes any sense and I really hope those two bands I named are not your favourite...lol
Vids
Anything but slash/incest or longer than 4-5 minutes. Also, I avoid vids with like 10 effects or white flashes per second, the kind that could cause epileptic seizures... I like effects and use them a lot but vids like that make me dizzy *shrugs*
(I have a few public posts where I recced vids I really liked if that helps - they are all tagged "vid rec")
Requests
I haven't included many details in my sign up form. As you can see most fields are empty but that's only because I didn't want to constrict you in any way and I think it's best to keep it that way so you could have creative freedom.
The only exception is music for "The Hunt for Red October" where I named the specific music theme but that's only because I imagined it like that. You really don't have to use it.
That's it :) I know this letter isn't going to be very helpful if you are stuck with ideas but remember that I'll be happy with anything you make for me. It doesn't have to be anything special, deep or thought provoking - just have fun with it!
