Well even though none of you, but Emily know me...
1) WHO was your ap kid crush? I didn't really have an IB crush. I've gone back and forth so much about the people I like, I don't know what to think anymore. It's seriously around 8 people.
2) Do you look back at (lincoln) with fond memories or shaking your head with a distatefull grimace? I look back at high school with fond memories. Academically, I can't complain at all. I took advantage of everything I could and did basically perfect. I was so glad to have all the opportunites that Lincoln offered to challenge me. I found a great group of friends, which made my experience so much better. There were too many people I didn't like, but I felt that I was in to much of a bubble being in full IB. Our graduation speaker basically said high school sucked, but I disagree. Sure I had rough patches with people and teachers, but I was able to work through those times and enjoy my time at Lincoln. I wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else.
3)What's the craziest thing you've done the rest of us wouldbe really really suprised to know you did? I actually went skinny dipping once in Spain. Everyone kept their distance though. And then I went streaking at the beach a few months ago.
4) what is the biggest misnomer that people always assume about you that just isn't true? I guess some people just think I'm really really into school and intense. We had to write poems about each other in english, and the girl who wrote about me just missed the point. It's not that I'm too consumed with school, it's that I have goals that I want to achieve, so I have to make sacrifices to make those things happen. Some see me as the person who studies all the time, which is completely untrue. I probably spend the least amount of time on homework out of all my friends. I'm interested in the college and academics, but I have so much more life outside of school that most people don't see.
5) What is one regret you have about high school, or something you wish you had done but didn't? I never had the girlfriend I thought I would have. Looking back, these 4 years went by so quickly in that department. Nothing ever materialized, most likely because I didn't really try to make something happen. Maybe I should have told people I liked them (obviously not that blunt) or been more honest about my feelings at times, but I just love being around my friends so much that I didn't want to screw that stuff up. I need to be more honest in the future.
6) If you could have been anyone else at school for a day to experiance their lives in that mtv show Why Cant I Be You, who would you have been, and why? I'd probably be John Sheffield because he has the trophy girlfriend, jock, parties, still academically strong, just seems to have lots of things going for him. It'd be interesting to have that kind of popularity on one level, like seeing what actually goes on in that group of people. A girl who'd be similar would be Karine. Actually, she'd probably be way more interesting, but she's a girl.
You are always doing the talking, so these were my candid answer. I enjoy reading your posts because they are so different and honest.
