here's the deal...

my family was homeless for a little while, but jeffrey's mom got em the hookup and we were able to rent a house here in br. hopefully, things will go as planned with my brother, and he will be able to soon afford to move into a 2 or 3 bedroom apt with me bc i need to get him out of that house. i wish i could afford to buy one, but i think it's highly unlikely. aside from the fact that there are next to no houses left in br to be bought. or really rented for that matter. anyways...jeffrey and his brother hooked my family up with lots of furniture and actually enjoy cleaning up the yard/mowing for them. not to sound cheesy, but i have one of the greatest boyfriends in the world. delle was also a huge help in the clothes and sleep dept. she filled my car with boxes and bags of clothing and bedding. i hope my dad finds out soon about his job. though chalmette will take another 30 years to be what it was just last week. that is, if they build again. that makes me leary though. but my mom always said...don't knock my dad's job at the refinery-that's how he was able to afford putting us through school, living expenses, etc. it's what he knows how to do and what he's good at. the ceo of my comp hooked the rest of my family up with a 3 bedroom apt. so they will be arriving in br in just a few days. this will def be interesting. god help us.

my family just met jeffrey for the first time last week and absolutely adore him. probably more than they like me. and he's stuck around after he met my insane family...i hope that means he'll be stickin around for awhile.

tonight is the first night i'm in my apt by myself in over 2 weeks. it feels strange. it's crazy how things can change so quickly over night. thank you soo much to everyone who has been helping my family out. i owe you my life. it's really refreshing to know that there are still a lot of good people out there. on that note, i'm going to finish my laundy and head to bed. sleep tight, sweet dreams.
