(no subject)
so i've been feeling really happy and excited lately... don't know why really, but i'm sure i have God to thank...
i feel artistic, and i feel as if i am somewhat good at it... i like to think so anyways... there was this one visiting artist, that i think was right about one thing... artists need validation from other people, from other artists...
i've decided its good to have friends that posses qualities that i might not have, because they always seem strengthen me in that area... like i feel by being around art students in class it makes me better because i learn from them, and they push me to improve...
making art is like sharing faith... its hard to put yourself out on that limb, because you never know how people are gonna respond...
i'm excited Chris Price is here... he's an awesome guy, i can't wait to pick his brains some!
temple's DNOW is this weekend, and i'm stoked... i wish i didn't have to go to my classes tomorrow, but thats life i guess... but i'm really excited about the girls i'm going to have...
i'm also excited that i get to see my mom and dad this week, its really kinda tough for me being so far away, i mean i could handle it if they were here... my mom is a huge part of my life, and i miss coming home from school and sharing with her all the happenings of the day... and even though my dad's kinda quiet i know he misses me as much as i miss him... he even sends me mail sometimes!
i think written letters are so personal, i love snail mail... i think i may write some tonight!
