the cretan castle...
At the northern most end of town you will find yourself CRETAN CASTLE. Within its gates lives the infamous King, more commonly known and seen as :). Of course, if you want to go inside, go right ahead! March in through the chalky gates of silver, head up the stairs, and stroll on inside. Paid the devilish guards no mind. Continue heading up the grand stairs, adventure a bit, but don't be disappointed when you're turned away from the Grand Hall. Audience with The King is strictly forbidden.
But as you traverse THE CASTLE, you will find random desserts laid out upon tables, as well as little notecards filled with sage advice. Think fortune cookies without the cookie - except the cookie is on the table beside the beauteous fortune.
The DUNGEON is off limits, and so is the KING's chambers, but feel free to adventure around ballrooms and libraries. After all, they want you to get comfortable. But don't chalk up the kindness to too much. Wouldn't want to get too comfortable.

The CRETAN COMPARTMENTS are the cozy (cramped) housing that is offered to you, yes you, at the small, small price of one smile. Sound strange? Well, it certainly isn't meant to scare you off. No, it's just to spread the cheer!
The CRETAN COMPARTMENTS are single bedroom, one bath, and with a small kitchen. There's furniture, and there's television (you'll find a huge collection of all your favourites - like Titantic!), and there's food in the fridge. Don't worry about the bills, we've got you chalk- I mean covered. Just make sure to keep your TV on. At all times. Even if you turn it off, well, it'll remain on. Sorry about that. Maybe there's something wrong with the power?
